Meet the curators:

Christoph Doswald is a curator, lecturer and publicist. He curated numerous exhibition projects (e.g. at Kunsthaus Graz; Kunsthalle Wien; Akademie der Künste, Berlin; Villa Arson, Nice; Pera Museum, Istanbul), specialized in commissioned and contextual art, and was the chairman of the programme for public art of the city of Zurich from 2008 to 2020. During his presidency he initiated more than 400 projects and curated the “Art And The City” triennials in 2012, 2015 and 2018.

Paolo Bianchi is a curator, art critic and lecturer at the Zurich University of the Arts. As curator he has realized big exhibition projects for the Steirischer Herbst in Graz or for the Capital of Culture Linz with a project on the roofs of the city (2009–2021). As guest editor of the magazine „Kunstforum International“ (Cologne) he is responsible for numerous thematic volumes on relevant discourses in contemporary art, culture and the art of living.

The Doswald/Bianchi duo already began working together in 1985/86, curating an offspace for contemporary art projects and performance art in their shared flat near Zurich.
